Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2018: the iconic all-rounder is updated.

The 2018 Wrangler is available in two- and four-door configurations in the Sport and Rubicon, while the luxurious Sahara comes with only four doors. A new 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injected (270 horsepower) four-cylinder petrol engine joins the 3.6-liter, 285-horsepower Pentastar V6 with natural aspiration in the engine range, all to further improve fuel efficiency. It can also be combined with a six-speed manual transmission, or a new eight-speed automatic.

The interior design of the Wrangler will vary drastically depending on the level of equipment. While the Rubicon comes equipped with durable materials with front and center 4WD controls, the Sahara model has a more elegant presentation. The three trim levels offer good space for front occupants, although the rear passengers in two-door Wranglers are probably a bit cramped.

The fourth generation version of the new Wrangler remains one of the most complete infotainment offerings in the industry. Available in 7 and 8 inches, the touch screen system offers support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with multi-touch gestures, Siri voice controls and Google voice search. The Wrangler delivers EPA-rated fuel economy numbers of 17 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway and 19 miles per gallon in mixed use.
